God blessed the day of his birth
For He alone knew her worth
God's eyes had always been over her
So in times of trouble she would not waiver
God placed over her forehead a mark
So the devil would not trouble her in the dark
God himself walked and showed her the victory way
So she would not go astray
God led her by his right hand
So she would not drift away like the sand
God heard all her prayers
So she would be delivered from all her snares
God said that she was his own
So that in this world she would never be alone
